Photo Ops
- The trail to the falls offers many spots for photos. There are several side trails.
- The falls are magnificent with a flat, shallow shelf directly underneath. Great play area for kids (Pics 4 & 5) and spectacular spot for photos of couples or seniors. (Pic 1)
- Not nearly as slippery as many rocky creeks and falls – but do take care!
- Check out the wooden bridge on Machine Branch just as you reach the lower area.
- Below the bridge and about 10 yards downstream is a pretty spot.
- Be sure to check out the wildflower trail on the lower area during the early spring. Magnificent!

(Yes, her name is Ocean!)
- Take water. If it is a hot day, take lots of water! And maybe an energy bar!
- Prepare to get wet. Take a towel and change of shoes. (Pic 2)
- Popular area, heavily visited.
- No changing area.
- You may see some folks climbing the falls. My advice – don’t!
- All kinds of props work great at the falls – even a mermaid outfit! (Pic 3)
