Tennessee state parks are just wonderful places for photography. Cumberland Mountain is no exception. Located just outside Crossville, Tennessee, this park boasts a golf course, dam and lake, trails, and more. State parks are wonderful places for families to come together from from away places. For the photo op shown below, this family gathered to honor the grandparent’s 50th anniversary.
The dam and spillway are usually shot from the lake side (above). But I like to look for more unusual shots. I think the back side of the dam is pretty spectacular. Look closely to see the granchildren on the stonework.
