H. V. Griffith Park is a large city park in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Like many parks there are ball fields, playgrounds, and lawns and trees. The great thing for photographers about city parks is that they are centrally located and open to the public. If a client wants to have some family pix or baby pix done, a park always works. And generally they work for all four seasons. In the spring and summer, include something green in the background. In the fall and winter choose falling leaves, tree trunks or water features. You might even get lucky and have some snow on the ground! And don’t forget the playground equipment. It is usually colorful and even a “big kid” can look cute kidding around on a playground.
