Kristin and Wes are getting married next April and wanted to get some engagement photos done during the Christmas break. Unfortunately, late December in Middle Tennessee is cold wet and dreary! Scenic outdoor locations are limited. So I suggested a Christmas tree farm.
I called around to some local farms but many have a policy of no photos. Calling a little farther away I found Blackjack Farms Christmas Trees on US-231 between Shelbyville and Murfreesboro. They have cut trees and trees in the ground. They also have a big red barn and derelict silo. Nice spot and only charged $25 for the photo shoot. The green and red added some color to the otherwise bleak December day.
We shot some photos with Christmas ornaments, wreaths, garlands. And we shot some without the obvious Christmas decor.
I am looking forward to seeing this fun couple again in April!
